Programme Volunteer Training Weekend

The training weekend is for both new and returning volunteers. The aim is to help all volunteers develop a better understanding of working with young people and how to help them make the most of their opportunities on camp. There will be a chance to think about why we run outdoor adventure camps for vulnerable young people and what we hope to achieve.

There will also be sessions based more specifically around the camps; the programme, logistics and roles, plus a chance to have a go at a couple of centre based activities.

I especially enjoyed the training weekend where I made a lot of friends and left feeling like I was part of the family.
