Youth Adventure Trust Chief Executive Mark Davey said, “Congratulations to all of our raffle winners and a huge thank you to everyone who took part in our Adventure Raffle and bought a ticket. We are delighted to have raised over £2,535 which is enough money to fund 28 activity days for young people. The Youth Adventure Programme and Mentoring Scheme really does make a life-changing difference to the young people in our community.”
“I learnt there is a hidden confident, funny, smart, positive person inside me.”
Sam was being bullied at school and had very little self belief. With the support and opportunities on our programme, he learnt to see himself differently. By entering the Adventure Raffle, you have helped young people like Sam to build resilience, to believe in himself and to use that to overcome difficulties at school and home – thank you!
With huge thanks for the generosity of all those who donated prizes: Ellis Brigham; Brandwave Marketing; Muckboot; Cumberwell Park Golf Club; Fiona Lansdowne, High Sheriff of Wiltshire; Wiltshire Outdoor Learning Team; Jim Starr & Youth Adventure Trust Ambassador Belinda Kirk; Steve & Allison Bucknell of Fulcrum Antiques, Royal Wootton Bassett; Youth Adventure Trust Ambassador Al Humphreys; George & Laura Lodge and Barbury Shooting School.
Our Adventure Raffle is a fun and yet valuable way in which to give young people the opportunity to get outside and build resilience. We are delighted for our winners and we would like to thank everyone for taking part and supporting us.
