The Youth Adventure Trust has been using outdoor adventure to inspire young lives for 30 years. Since we began, we have helped 1,960 vulnerable young people aged 11-16. In the past 30 years we have run 11,114 hours of activity on the YAT Adventure Programme, which means we have facilitated 428,000 hours of activity participation – the equivalent of 39 hours a day, every day for 30 years. The YAT Mentoring Programme launched in 2018; to date 61 young people have been offered a place and 1,282 mentoring sessions have been held. The YAT Resilience Programme launched in 2023 as a pilot scheme with 40 young people taking part.
