Incredible scenery, a challenging route and second-to-none support, it’s no surprise that Race to the Stones has been voted the UK’s Best Endurance Event for the past three years.
Lined with Bronze Age hill forts, Neolithic burial chambers and Roman river crossings, you will step in the same footsteps as travellers who lived over 5,000 years ago.
You will get the full Threshold experience, including fully-stocked pitstops laden with food and drinks, an overnight Basecamp and tireless support from our crew and medics who will help you every step of the way.
Celebrated as Britain’s oldest path, your 100km route follows the historic trail past Wayland’s Smithy, Uffington White Horse and Barbury Castle before reaching the iconic ancient Stone Circle at Avebury. Follow in the footsteps of the Romans and write your name into the history books!

Registration details
You have three options – either apply for charity funded places and commit to a fundraising target for Youth Adventure Trust, or, purchase your own place and we’ll support you to raise as much as you can without being committed to a set target.
Option 1: Charity Funded place
You pay a small registration fee, do lots of fundraising and we cover the rest of your event place!
Charity Entry Prices from: £40
Option 2: Self Funded place
You pay the full cost of the event place, fundraise whatever you want with no target or deadline, and no cost to the charity!

Every day, our Programme Managers are working with vulnerable young people to build resilience, develop confidence and learn skills they can use to face the challenge in their lives. Each place on the Youth Adventure Programme costs £1,300 a year, so every penny you raise will really empower young people to lead positive lives and fulfil their potential.

Once you sign up to join TeamYAT, we’ll be here to support you throughout all the training for your challenge, and after the big day, to help you reach your personal and fundraising goals.
